Salomé entering the room

Digital painting depicting a mysterious naked woman with a red hooded cloak emerging from the twilight. The mystery is heightened by the fact that you can't see her face or limbs.

This work is inspired by the biblical story of Salome, the daughter of Herodias. Salome caused the death of John the Baptist by asking for his head as a reward for her sensual dances. This image represents the moment she enters the room, just before she starts dancing.
